TMA-DPH是一种用于测定人造和活体膜系统中膜流动性的荧光探针。该探针通常用于标记细胞膜双层和质膜的外小叶[1],也可用于追踪质膜的胞吐作用和内吞作用。TMA-DPH是DPH的阳离子衍生物,DPH是疏水性分子,由于其亲脂性高,倾向于嵌入到双层膜中,通常用于标记双层的疏水性核心,相比之下,TMA-DPH包含阳离子三甲基铵取代基,其起表面锚定作用,固定在水/脂质界面中的膜表面上,TMA-DPH更适合研究膜的运动动力学。两者插入膜中会伴随荧光的强烈增强;它们在水中几乎不发荧光。TMA-DPH的光谱学相关参数为Ex=355nm / Em=430nm。
