在脊椎动物中枢神经系统中,常见生化试剂L-谷氨酸(Glu)被广泛认为是一种主要的兴奋性神经递质。适当的Glu传输促进多种大脑生理功能,如学习与记忆形成以及基础神经元交流。
体外:Rose Bengal具有膜通透性,有效地抑制离体突触小泡摄取谷氨酸。Rose Bengal抑制泡状Glu摄取,而不影响H1泵ATPase。Rose Bengal在不同程度上减少突出体突触小泡中的[3H]谷氨酸[1]。
体内:静脉注射Rose Bengal后,其体内分布显示出剂量依赖性。在低剂量下,Rose Bengal基本上只分布于肝脏与血浆中。然而,在较高剂量下,Rose Bengal渐渐地积累于肝外组织中。Rose Bengal的肝脏转移最大量高达146 micrograms/kg/min。将Rose Bengal的剂量由10 mg/kg提升至200 mg/kg后,Rose Bengal在肝脏中的浓度接近最大值,但Rose Bengal在肝脏中的储存容量不会限制rose bengal 的最大转移[1]。
