AO/PI双染试剂盒（AO/PI Double Staining Kit）是一种可以快速检测细胞状态的试剂盒。本试剂盒提供两种核染料，吖啶橙（Acridine Orange, AO）和碘化丙啶PI。
AO可以穿透细胞膜，将正常细胞染成绿色或黄绿色。当细胞凋亡时，染色体会固缩或者断裂成大小不一的片段。此时AO可以将凋亡细胞染上致密浓染的黄绿色或染成黄绿色碎片。另一种核染料PI不能透过细胞膜，不能将正常细胞或凋亡细胞染上红色，只能染细胞膜受损的细胞，如坏死细胞。当使用这两种染料双染时，正常细胞为绿色或黄绿色荧光，凋亡细胞为大小不一的致密黄绿色荧光，坏死细胞为强烈的红色荧光。
